We are finally enjoying some warm weather here in Cleveland, Ohio, but it wasn’t long ago that we felt the cold, snowy winter we thought would never end.  Well today it’s time to think about winter again. And…shall I say it?  Christmas!

Today is National Leon Day.  I’m guessing you’ve never heard of it so here it goes…

National Leon Day, June 25th, is six months away from Christmas day.  Leon is Noel spelled backward and, on this day, crafters begin planning their homemade gifts and decorations.  It can also be a day for anyone who misses the winter holidays to have a mini celebration in June.

If you’re planning on crafting your Christmas gifts, today’s the day to get started.  Just make sure you’re crafting in the cool comfort of your air-conditioned home!  We will be in the 90’s by this weekend and the heat index will be around 100 degrees!
