Congratulations Taeje Price
In 1907, our family launched a Cleveland Heights heating and cooling company working directly with architects and builders in the area. We quickly became a pioneer of the industry, and laid groundwork for a family company focused on best business practices that compliment customer expectations. Since then, the Bill and Chris Hann have continued the legacy by providing boiler, furnace, air conditioning and plumbing services to the Cleveland Heights area and surrounding communities. It is with great joy that Bill and Chris Hann initiated the Helping Hann project in 2016. This annual program invites customers to nominate someone in need of a new furnace installation. Nominees include, but are not limited to, physical disabilities, senior citizens, financial challenges, and military service.
2020 was a challenge for everyone. And for some, the historic year hit harder than one family should have to handle. Mrs. Price and her family of South Euclid faced some different challenges. But they persevered through the winter often utilizing multiple space heaters to fight off the freezing temps. The family at one point had to stay with another family when space heaters simply could not keep up with the substantial snow fall and wind chill. One of our customers recognized Mrs. Price’s willpower and nominated her for the Helping Hann program. After a consultation and home visit, we finalized this nomination and entered her into the drawing.
Earlier this year, VEH owner Chris Hann held a live drawing. Mrs. Price’s entry was the lucky winner. In the spirit of excellent customer service, our team engaged immediately, and installed a brand-new furnace the following day, just in time for another unexpected temperature drop. Mrs. Price said “(she was) cold for so long, and this could not have come at more perfect time. The furnace installation was smooth, pleasant, and done quickly with little to no fuss or mess. It was a phenomenal surprise and (I) am very happy with the great workmanship.”
Verne & Ellsworth Hann continues to strive to be a leader in Cleveland / University / Shaker Heights community. A free furnace is a small gift to what we hope continues to be a long-lasting relation with our customers, both old and new.
