The month of May is coming to an end meaning June is just around the corner. And we all know the month of June means summer! Actually, the first day of summer is June 21st! But do you know what June 22nd is? National HVAC Tech Day!
There are a lot of strange holidays. For example, May 3rd is Lumpy Rug Day, January 21st is Squirrel Appreciation Day, November 14th is Pickle Day, January 7th is National Bobblehead Day…the list goes on and on!
I’m not sure the meaning behind the Lumpy Rug Day but I can tell you why National HVAC Tech Day should definitely be celebrated!
So many of us take the comfort of indoor heating and cooling for granted. But it’s our HVAC technicians that keep our systems up and running so we can enjoy those comforts!
If your furnace, boiler or air conditioning system stops working you may be without heat or cooling for a short period of time. Our technicians work in those homes all day. They brave the cold in the winter, and the sweltering heat in the summer. They enter crawl spaces and attics and can even run into critters at times. They sweat, get dirty and lift heavy objects. They drive in extreme conditions in the winter around Cleveland Heights and its surrounding areas just to insure you’re comfortable in your home.
All of us here at Verne & Ellsworth Hann, Inc. have a huge appreciation for our technicians and all they do for our customers. They are hardworking, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They truly care and it shows in their craftsmanship!
So mark your calendars for June 22nd and be sure to wish our technicians a Happy HVAC Tech Day!
