If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, then it’s a duck. So the saying goes. But in this case it’s a duct, plus two or three or four.
We understand that no one is an expert at everything. But, there comes a time when, even if you’re not mechanically inclined, you sense there is something not right with the fact your furnace installation looks like it’s a bad robot out of a science fiction B-movie made in the 1950’s. We can’t even bring ourselves to compare this to our favorite B-movie “The Little Shop Of Horrors” directed by Roger Corman and featuring Jack Nicholson in one of his earliest roles.
However, this furnace monstrosity was created by a mad scientist from another heating company. And maybe in his eyes it was a work of art or a mechanical inspiration that rivals Thomas Edison.
The fact of the matter is it’s a wasteful inefficient money eating hack job from aliens masquerading as heating technicians. And not the Alien from the Ridley Scott movie, which was an excellent movie with a highly intelligent Alien. It’s actually a disservice to both the Alien and Ridley Scott for mentioning their names in association with this evil creation pictured above.
And yet the evil element to this situation is the fact the someone actually got paid to do this kind of work. Remember “A Nightmare On Elm Street” with Freddy Krueger? Freddy worked in the basement boiler room of the local school, and a case could be made that he deserved to be paid more than the technicians who installed this nightmare. By the way, “A Nightmare On Elm Street” was Johnny Deep’s first movie.
When it comes to have a major production made in your basement, don’t settle for a B-movie experience. Demand A-list talent and call Verne & Ellsworth Hann at 216-932-9755.
Our work has premiered all over Northeast Ohio. Whether it’s a boiler, furnace or state of the art high velocity UNICO air conditioning system, call the people who hold the Heating and Cooling Oscar for Best Director, Best Producer, and Best Visual Effects – visual effects; because our work has mechanical elegance at first sight.

Excellent and prompt service. The workmen were professional and helpful in their explanation of care and service of the equipment.

I want you to know how pleased I was with the entire experience. From the initial meeting with Chris through the installation of my new A/C unit.

Installers were spot on time at 8 am, took care not to track dirt into house, and were both courteous and friendly. Excellent quality work to boot!

I have had several projects from Verne & Ellsworth, across boiler replacements, heating system installation, and air conditioning system set up and install. Each of these times, Bill Hann takes a ton of his time to talk to my wife and I to learn about the issues we’re having, explain the root causes of those issues, and suggest fixes that we know will prevent the issues from coming back – not just paper over the issue temporarily. Lastly, he always delivers on time – onsite when he says he will be, fishing when he says he will – and always makes sure every aspect of the job is completed, from material removal and set up, to equipment install, to clean up after the project. A++ and highly recommended!

The unit is working very well. The installers were very professional, showed me how everything worked, and cleaned the basement beautifully. I would never have even known they were there. Thank you again.
